FROM IMAGINATION TO FORM
Every sculpture begins before it has a shape — as an image, a symbol, a memory or an idea. Through drawing, digital sculpting, material, printing, casting and hand finishing, that invisible form gradually becomes an object that can be touched, held and encountered.

ONE SCULPTURE, FROM FORM TO OBJECT
A complete journey through modelling, printing, assembly and finishing.

02 — IMAGE
Giving the idea a visible direction.
References, sketches and digital studies begin to establish proportion, gesture, composition and character.
This stage is still fluid. Forms can change quickly before they become committed to matter.

03 — FORM
The image becomes sculpture.
The figure is developed digitally or traditionally, moving from broad masses to anatomy, gesture, expression and surface detail.
The purpose is not detail for its own sake, but a form that works from every angle.
DIGITAL SCULPTURE — FORM IN DEVELOPMENT
04 — MATERIAL
Form enters the physical world.
Once the digital sculpture is ready, it is prepared for production. Depending on the work, the process may involve 3D printing, mould making, casting or direct hand modelling.
Digital precision is only the beginning. Material introduces weight, resistance, texture and accident.
05 — HAND
The hand is present from beginning to end.
A sculpture can begin directly in clay, shaped traditionally by hand, or develop first as a digital form. Depending on the work, I move between physical and digital sculpting, using each where it serves the idea best.
After printing or casting, the hand takes over again — cleaning, correcting, assembling, sanding, painting and building the final patina until the object acquires its finished character.

06 — OBJECT
The imagined form becomes present.
The final sculpture is no longer a file, a print or a collection of separate parts. It has become an object with weight, surface, scale and presence — something that now exists independently of the image that began it.
WHERE IMAGINATION TAKES FORM

07 — DELIVERY
Protected for the final journey.
Fine and fragile sculptures require careful packing so that the object arrives as it left the studio.
01 — IMAGINATION
Every form begins before it exists.
A sculpture may begin with a drawing, a myth, a photograph, a fragment of anatomy, a memory or simply an image that refuses to disappear.
The first task is not to make the object, but to discover what the object wants to become.

MADE FROM BEGINNING TO END
I work across digital sculpture, physical production and hand finishing so that the same idea can be followed from its first image to the finished object.
